I love what Natalie Taggart shared this week about the nature of the hustle.

She’s a total #truthspeaker and she would know how tough the hustle can get because she’s been there. And in the past year, I’ve seen her REALLY commit to her dreams on her terms.

Sometimes we get overwhelmed with doing things the way everyone else is. That could mean working a 9-5 that doesn’t make you happy or hustling through creating a business that does, but still feeling like something isn’t right.

Here’s what I’ve got for you today: hustle then flow. If you need to hustle to meet a deadline, it’s okay to do a quick sprint–as long as rest, relaxation and self care are on the other side.

Like Natalie says, the flow is where the magic lies. We often get our best inspiration during those in between moments–in the shower, driving down the highway or as we’re falling asleep. Sometimes I’ll be racking my brain all week about a business problem and then during a luxurious lunch with a girlfriend, the solution is suddenly SO clear.

To make the most of inspiration when it happens, keep a notepad with you at all times (I’ll even take mine into yoga class if I’m headed in there for clarity–eek!) or use your iPhone notes app.

In order to be seriously successful in your work, you must be seriously inspired. And to be seriously inspired, you must create SPACE for inspiration to flow through.

Sending many blessings this week, sister!
