Inner Glow Circle is founded on the belief that women benefit from working and living in community. The strength that we cultivate individually as powerful boss babes in the world is just as important as the strength that comes from joining together in connected and collaborative community. I know this, I believe it, I tell people about it all day-and yet I never cease to be amazed by the examples I hear from our members. I’m floored, humbled and thankful each and every time.
This week, one of our members shared her own experience within our community after a rough day, and it was so juicy I couldn’t resist passing it on.
“I just finished leading a group coaching call after a day full of disappointment, tears, regret and not feeling good enough. I can’t believe I even got on a group call, much less led one. But the Universe has a funny way of making sure you are where you need to be. I am beyond thankful for the women I get to work with. People often think coaching is about one person teaching another how to live their lives. It is SO not that. It’s about creating and holding a sacred space, and learning and growing there together.
Tonight I was reminded that your intuition won’t try to reason with you or convince you of anything. That’s fear and ego. Intuition communicates decisively – it’s like how your best friend can give you one look and you know exactly what they’re thinking. I might be a little heartbroken right now, and I might have a million negative thoughts swirling around in my head, but at the end of the day when I listen to my intuition, she tells me it’s all going to be ok. She tells me taking risks is never anything but courageous, especially when it comes to love. She tells me I deserve exactly what I’ve finally realized I want, and that I’ll get it one way or another. Trust has always seemed pretty impossible to me, but at least for now, I’m going to try.”
