1. What inspired you to become a coach, and how did the IGC Coaching School help you take the leap?

Having been a mental health therapist for almost 2 decades I saw patterns in my clients that did not require the medical model for treatment. I knew there was another way to engage with clients that was more collaborative where the burden was not on me to be the “expert” in the room. I loved that IGC is female led and is a space curated to support women entrepreneurs to build businesses that reflect their true essence.

2. What’s one powerful transformation you’ve experienced since starting Coach Training/Leaders Rising?

Being able to shift my brain from a therapeutic mindset to a coaching mindset and see powerful transformations an clients

That while I do heart centered work it is important to fine tune skills as a business woman as my work does not have to sacrifice my own financial needs.

5. What’s your favorite memory or “aha moment” from your training with IGC?

Getting comfortable with sales by reframing it as an invitation for clients to reach their desired goals.

It was to be reminded of the power in healing and growth in a community space.

Certification has paved the path for ICF Credentialing and opened up even more opportunities of me to truly step into freedom of time and choice.

9. How are you currently building visibility and growing your brand as a coach? (Social media, speaking, collaborations, etc.)

I have been working collaboratively with colleagues and creating even more yummy offers for clients

10. How has IGC continued to support you as a Graduate Student?

Absolutely! There are continued coaching calls, co-working days, and an online space to share wins, ask questions, and continue to engage with the IGC community.

11. What’s something unique about your coaching style or approach that sets you apart?

I am a highly intuitive person which allows me to expertly vision cast in collaboration with my clients. Supporting them to build lives and fulfill dreams they never thought possible.

12. Tell us about a client transformation that deeply impacted you as a coach.

I recall a client who came in as she was at the tail end of her divorce proceedings. When she started with me she was so angry feeling lost and dejected. By the end of our time together she had reconnected with her true essence and was able to take responsibility for her future. She enrolled in school to fulfill a dream she had put on the back burner and is currently applying to a master’s program. She has become skilled at setting and holding her boundaries as well as to parent without guilt and fear. Even on her worse days, she is able to utilize skills to hold a loving space for herself, rest when needed, and step into resilience.

13. What’s one business or marketing strategy that has worked really well for you?

Being myself by remaining a truth teller and not taking myself too seriously.

14. What are you currently working on in your coaching business? (New offers, programs, retreats, speaking, etc.)

I am currently working on a few digital products as well a new 6 week course, Uproot and Rewild, to help women move past their old storylines and patterns to step into the highest version of themselves.

15. What’s something about your personal journey that more people should know?

While going through IGC training my marriage was falling apart. With a lot of sabotaging behaviors from my ex-partner I almost did not complete my full certification but was fully supported by the IGC team emotionally and professionally. It would have been easy for IGC to treat me as another number as my fees were paid and I was technically no longer their concern. However, through consistent touchpoint and encouragement I was not only able to get pass the final hurdle but also to go on and get to the goal when I started this journey – to become ICF Credentialed as a Professional Certified Coach.

16. What’s next for you? Any big goals or dreams you’re manifesting?

So many! I have so much I want to offer to women in my work. I am planning for first ever retreat for later this year which I know will be the first of many opportunities to bring women together for collective healing and growth.

17. How has coaching changed your life beyond just business?

As IGC is a program where you not only learn to coach but also get coached throughout the process, I have been able to identify and shift so many limiting patterns I was not even aware of before starting. It has been an equally humbling and empowering experience to be a part of the IGC family.
