1. What advice would you have for someone going into Coach Training?

Tell one person every day that you are a coach, business owner, or both. You will be amazed at the connections, and eventually sales that you generate by simply allowing yourself to be known.

2. How has Level/Level 2 benefited your business?

Level 1 gave me all the foundational skills I needed to feel confident enough to launch my coaching practice. I know for a fact I would have never done this on my own had I not had the structure of this program and the guidance from my mentor coach. Level 2 elevated my coaching skills and called me up to a higher standard as both a coach and business owner. It inspired me to raise my prices, go after bigger contracts, and get on stages…all things I had thought about after the first 2 years of business, but I needed a bigger push to actually go after.

3.  What is something you loved about Level 1 or Level 2?

The very honest conversations we have in class that lead to the strong connections we make with our classmates. Outside of the actual curriculum content, we go deep in class about what it’s like being women in business, being a helping professional in this day and age, and how real world events impact our clients’ experience. My cohort became it’s own little family because of these conversations, and to this day, I have never had a day where I felt alone in my business.

4. How have you grown on a personal level as a Graduate Student from Inner Glow Circle?

Oh I am a completely different person than who I was in 2020. Up until enrolling in IGC, I relied on what other people thought I should do with my life, my career, and my finances to make a decision. I was always worried about what others thought of me, and I excluded myself a lot from the dreams I had for my future. I figured certain experiences would just never happen for me for one reason or another. I had very little confidence or belief in myself. Now, I am someone who focuses on finding the evidence of possibility. I can make decisions for myself regardless of what others think. I have removed myself from jobs, relationships, and spaces that are negative, belittling, and discouraging. I have raised every standard for my life. What was once my “pipe dream” is now my reality.

5. How has IGC continued to support you as a Graduate Student?

This community has had my back since day 1. I know that no matter what I need or am struggling with, there will always be someone to help me. I also know that when I hit a milestone or accomplish something major, there will always be someone to celebrate with me! IGC is truly me “soft place to land,” and having support in this way has given me the courage to continue stepping out of my comfort zone and going after what I want in life and business.

6.  Share something that you are currently working on personally or professionally…

Professionally, I currently have several really exciting collaborations in the works for 2025! Some coaching-related and some connected to my mental health career. My goal in 2025 to do a lot more traveling for my business…working with clients in-person for a custom-curated luxury coaching experience, hosting live events, and selling out my first retreat! Personally, I’m on a weight loss journey, and I’m 30lbs down towards my 80lb goal!

7.  What is something you wish more people knew about you?

I think most people in IGC know me as the sales girly since I am the Director of Admissions and Sales for the company! But I wish they had a window into seeing who I was before all of this so they could see how much can actually change in a couple of years when you promise to stop quitting on yourself and using everything bad that has ever happened to you as a reason to stay complacent. That’s been my story.

8. What strategies have you taken to create visibility for yourself and your business?

I’ve talked about this a LOT but the first year that I fully worked for myself, I decided to challenge myself to tell one new person every single day that I was a certified coach. The results from this practice were greater than I every expected…I generated hundreds of leads who then filled up my first group program 8 times in a row, landed me dozens of 1:1 clients, opened up doors to teaching at a university, landed my first paid speaking engagements, and more. My main strategy has always been to get out into the world and my community on a regular basis and talk about what I have to offer. It’s almost like a little treasure hunt because you never know where one conversation might lead!

9. What strategies have you taken to create visibility for yourself and your business?

A new beginning, really. I lost my little brother at the beginning of the summer, and my entire world flipped upside down. So what’s next is that I am rediscovering who I am without him, and my dad too. I’ve lost the two most important men in my life, and I’m only 31, so I am navigating immense grief while maintaining my commitments to my current clients and business goals. But I’ve decided that I’m going back to my roots in 2025 – focusing on having fun, saying no to anything that isn’t, keeping my offers simple, and allowing myself to do things personally and professionally that have had to take a backseat because of being a caregiver in my family for the last several years. It’s hard to say that I’m looking forward to the future because of what and who I am forced to leave behind, but as a coach, I know there is so much more coming for me than I can even see, and I am choosing to trust in what’s possible to be in my highest good.
