1. What inspired you to become a coach, and how did the IGC Coaching School help you take the leap?

Being a coach was a calling I had ignored most of my life. It is what I have always wanted to be AND do but I played things safely. After beating breast cancer, I decided that I was going to stop ignoring the voice. IGC helped me take the leap by providing the type of program that felt best in my gut. The staff is truly exceptional, and I know this would be my home.

2. What’s one powerful transformation you’ve experienced since starting Coach Training?

One of the most powerful transformations I’ve experienced is learning that coaching isn’t about having the right answers or fixing things for people. It’s about slowing down, asking better questions, and creating the space for people to find their own answers. That shift has changed not only how I coach, but how I lead, communicate, and show up in my relationships. I’ve become a better listener, more curious, and much more intentional about giving people the space to discover what they’re capable of.

3. How has IGC helped you step into your confidence and own your leadership?

IGC helped me realize that leadership isn’t about having all the answers. I’ve spent years leading teams and solving problems, but coach training taught me the power of slowing down, trusting myself, and creating space for others to find their own answers. It gave me confidence in a completely different way not because I know everything, but because I’ve learned to trust who I am, what I bring to the table, and the impact I can have on others.

4. What’s one lesson you’ve learned in Coach Training that has made a big difference in your coaching or business?

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is to start messy. I have a tendency to want everything figured out and perfected before I take the first step, but Coach Training has taught me that clarity and confidence often come from taking action, not waiting until you feel completely ready. My business doesn’t have to be perfect to make an impact. I just have to be willing to start, learn, adjust, and keep moving forward

5. What’s your favorite memory or “aha moment” from your training with IGC?

My favorite part of my training with IGC was the people. I went into Coach Training hoping to grow as a coach, but I walked away with some of the most incredible friendships. We laughed together, challenged each other, supported one another, and created memories I will always cherish. (Shout out to my June 2025 accelerated cohort girlies.)These people became dear friends, and that was truly one of the greatest and most unexpected gifts of this entire experience.

6. What advice would you give to someone considering Coach Training?

My advice would be to really sit with it and not let the energy of all the negative “what ifs” scare you away. Listen to your gut and know that you will get out of the experience what you are willing to put into it. Be open to the advice, guidance, and opportunities that come your way, but remember that you don’t have to follow the exact path someone else has taken. Take what you learn, trust yourself, and use it to create the life and business that you want.

7. How has your business changed since becoming a certified coach? (Clients, income, confidence, etc.)

The biggest change in my business has been the confidence to let it evolve. I started with one idea of what my coaching business should look like, but through my training, I’ve become much more confident in who I am as a coach, the kind of impact I want to make, and the people I want to serve. I’m more willing to try new things, listen to what people actually need, and build a business that feels authentic to me rather than following someone else’s version of what a coaching business should look like.

8. How are you currently building visibility and growing your brand as a coach? (Social media, speaking, collaborations, etc.)

I use social media to build awareness and share who I am and what I do, but I don’t rely on it to sell. Most of my business has grown through authentic connections, relationships, and word of mouth. I’ve found that simply being myself, genuinely connecting with people, and letting them experience who I am as a person and a coach has been the most effective way to grow my brand. For me, building a business has been less about selling and more about building trust and creating relationships. And I LOVE it.

9. How has IGC continued to support you as a Graduate Student?

I’ve really relied on the monthly themes and make it a priority to attend meetings whenever I can (Or watch replied when I can’t). What I value most, though, is knowing the support doesn’t end when the training does. There is always someone willing to answer a question, offer guidance, or provide encouragement. The ongoing support from the leaders at IGC is something I truly value. All you have to do is ask.

10. What’s something unique about your coaching style or approach that sets you apart?

I think what sets me apart is my ability to balance compassion with accountability. I create a space where people feel supported and understood, while also challenging them to take action and create real change in their lives.

11. Tell us about a client transformation that deeply impacted you as a coach.

One client who deeply impacted me had become so caught up in the routine of life that she had forgotten what even excited her anymore. Over three months, we dug deep into who she was, what she wanted, and what made her feel alive. Watching the light slowly come back to her and seeing her get excited about her life again was incredibly meaningful and reminded me exactly why I chose to become a coach.

12. What’s one business or marketing strategy that has worked really well for you?

Building genuine relationships. I’ve found that the best marketing strategy for me is simply connecting with people, being myself, and genuinely caring about what they’re going through. When people trust you and understand who you are, referrals and opportunities happen naturally.

13. What are you currently working on in your coaching business? (New offers, programs, retreats, speaking, etc.)

Lately, I’ve found a real passion for creating Women’s Circle groups. I love bringing women together and cultivating genuine community, friendship, and support. Creating a space where women can connect, feel encouraged, and know they aren’t doing life alone is something I’m really excited to continue growing.

14. What’s something about your personal journey that more people should know?

My journey has been anything but a straight line. I’ve experienced loss, started over, changed directions, and had seasons where I had no idea what was next. I think people often see where someone is today without knowing everything it took to get there. I’ve learned that you can go through incredibly hard things, rebuild, and create a life that looks completely different than you once imagined.

15. What’s next for you? Any big goals or dreams you’re manifesting?

I’m manifesting a life where I get to make a profound impact on others. I see coaching, Women’s Circle groups, and maybe even public speaking in my future.

16. How has coaching changed your life beyond just business?

Coaching has changed the way I show up in every area of my life. I listen differently, ask better questions, and have learned that I don’t always need to fix things for the people I love. It has also pushed me to look more honestly at my own life, what I want, and where I need to grow. Becoming a coach hasn’t just changed what I do. It has changed who I am.
