1. What’s one lesson that you’ve learned in Leaders Rising that you’ve already applied?
A lesson I’ve already applied is to provide clarity for your clients. To be specific, I am more intentional about closing the sale during Discovery Calls, rather than leaving things up in the air. I also shifted my focus to talking more about the real-life changes clients can experience when they work with a coach—not just about my services. It’s made a big difference in helping potential clients see how coaching can transform their careers and lives, which has led to more meaningful connections and successful sign-ups.
2. What advice would you have for someone going into Coach Training?
You’ll get out of Leaders Rising what you put into it. Here are some of my lessons learned:
*Prepare for class: Carve out a bit of time each week to do the assignments before your next session. There’s always Q&A time, so being ready with questions or insights will help you get way more out of it.
*Trust yourself: You intuitively know what you want for yourself and your business. It may be unique and different or very similar to someone else’s business. Someone needs your service. Lean into the process, even if it feels a bit uncertain at times.
*Be open to the possibilities: You never know what you will discover when you step out of your comfort zone.
*Find accountability early: Leaders Rising is all about holding yourself accountable. If that’s not your strong suit, ask your Partner Coach or someone you trust to keep you on track. It makes a world of difference.
*Show up and engage: Whether it’s in class or the FB groups, jump in and participate.
*The instructors and your fellow coaches genuinely want to help. Enjoy the ride! You know more than you think you do, and you have more value and expertise than you’re giving yourself credit for. Own that, step into that, and have fun discovering the parts of you that make you shine in your coaching and in your business!
3. How has Coach Training/Leaders Rising benefited your business?
Leaders Rising helped me bring structure to both my coaching sessions and the way I run my business. It also shifted how I approach entrepreneurship. I started to see myself not just as a coach but as an actual business owner. This shift gave me the confidence to show up fully in my work. I started closing more sales during Discovery Calls, got clearer on my coaching niche, and created packages that truly help my clients reach their goals.
4. What is something you loved about Coach Training/Leaders Rising?
I loved connecting with other Leaders Rising students during the weekly calls. Hearing about their wins and the challenges they were working through really made the whole entrepreneurial journey feel more normal. Plus, getting the chance to chat about our own businesses with Liv and Kendell was such a highlight. Leaders Rising provided a safe and supportive space to figure out what I wanted for myself and my business.
5. How have you grown on a personal level as a Graduate Student from Inner Glow Circle?
I am more self-aware and have started to embrace myself and become comfortable in my own skin. Now that I am genuine in myself, it allows me to help others becomes genuine in themselves.

6. How has IGC continued to support you as a Graduate Student?
As a graduate of Leaders Rising, I have access to support through the IGC Open Coaching calls and the Six Figure Circle Facebook group.
7. Share something that you are currently working on personally or professionally…
Professionally, I’m putting together Career Bootcamps for two categories of job seekers:
Category 1: Those who are stepping into Corporate America for the first time.
Category 2: Folks who already have experience but are ready for a career change.
On a personal level, I’m on a wellness journey. My focus is on mindfulness, moving my body more, shedding some weight, and just eating better overall.
8. What is something you wish more people knew about you?
I wish more people knew that I have a playful side. It’s fun to spend time with friends and enjoy board games, billiards, and attend a good stand-up comedy show. Honestly, I just love to laugh and have a good time—it’s one of the ways to lift my spirits.
9. What strategies have you taken to create visibility for yourself and your business?
I make it a point to talk about how I help people through career coaching and business consulting whenever I can. Most of my clients have come through building connections with other entrepreneurs and business professionals.
10. What strategies have you taken to create visibility for yourself and your business?
Personally, what’s next for me is traveling to some of the spots I’ve been dreaming about, staying committed to my wellness journey, creating meaningful memories, and getting back into the dating scene.
Professionally, I’m excited to keep growing my coaching skills and knowledge. Also, I want to expand my impact by offering more group training and coaching sessions and building a close-knit community where past and current clients can connect, support each other, and grow together.
