GLOWSCOPES ARE BACKK!!!! LET’S GLOWW!!
Here are your May 2023 Glowscopes!
Starting from April 20th onward, we’ve had a LOTTT happening in the cosmos. From January 21 to April 20 we didn’t have any planets in retrograde. Everything seemed pretty calm and peaceful in our atmosphere. We were able to think clearly. Currently, we’ve got some interesting activity going on up there. For starters, it is the start of eclipse season. We just had a rare combo solar eclipse in Aries, and a new moon in Aries back on April 20, the official start of Mercury Retrograde in Taurus, ANNNDD the official start of Taurus season (also where the sun is for the next month or so). We’ll have a lunar eclipse on May 5th. We’ll get more into that in this GlowScope. We’re really starting off with a bang this Taurus season!
This month we are in Mercury Retrograde in Taurus, we have a Full Moon in Scorpio, and Lunar Eclipse in Scorpio both occurring on May 5th! And our New Moon will be on May 20th in Taurus. The start of the Gemini season will occur on May 21st.
Read ahead for the full forecast of what to expect this May, then look for your sun sign below to see what you may expect for your sign this month. This is your go-to guide for ALL things happening in the cosmos this month!!
Taurus season and Mercury Retrograde
The Sun moved into Taurus on April 20th and this will last until May 20th. This is a beautiful time to reconnect with nature and get outside more often. Find what really grounds you. Also, look for the beauty in your daily life and routines. For you, it could be getting back into those weekly outdoor hikes, going to farmers’ markets, having picnics, picking fresh flowers, and looking for more activities to do outside. It’s also a good time to tap into your creativity and do something outside of the box. Get a new journal. Adapt a new habit of journaling each morning or night. Remember, we’re also deep within a Mercury Retrograde for the first couple of weeks of May until the 15th…so if the Wi-Fi, phone, or computer starts acting all wonky, that’s your sign from the Universe to go out for a walk! Stop scrolling. Also have patience with yourself and others, as with the collective energy being in Taurus season, we tend to move much more slowly. Avoid any impulsive decisions. Get on the waitlist for the Fall 2023 cohort of our coach training program, this is a good way into moving toward a new opportunity…;)
Lunar Eclipse in Scorpio, May 5th
With our powerful solar eclipse and New Moon in Aries on April 20, we expected the unexpected. The eclipse season which occurs each spring and fall usually involves great change. Because this lunar eclipse is in the sign of Scorpio, expect some hidden secrets to come to the surface. On May 5th, there will be a great shift. It will not be easy to predict what this will be, but it is suggested to look at your birth chart to see which house Scorpio is in and those themes will come up. Within the collective energy, which may affect mostly every sign, we may expect to uncover details about a person’s criminal activity, hidden agendas, and anything wonky or sketchy that has been kept secret. Maybe for you, it’s going to be finally telling your family or loved ones that you’ve started a new business, or that you’ve enrolled in a certification or course. Whatever that may be, have courage, stand in your power, trust yourself, and know that whatever is meant to come up will do so naturally. If you’re a Scorpio or any of the other water signs (Cancer & Pisces), you will be most affected. For other signs: this will affect you, too, but you may not be as emotional as the water signs will be (lol). Bring on the waterworks!
Full Moon in Scorpio, May 5th
Every Full Moon invites us to release something that no longer serves us. This could be a relationship, your past self, a situation, a block, or a mindset that isn’t in alignment anymore. It also doesn’t have to be something so drastic. Simply releasing an old habit is a great way to work with the Full Moon. You can also hire a 1:1 coach for releasing things that no longer serve you, duhhh! Being that this Full Moon on May 5th is in Scorpio, it may call for you to release something that you’ve kept private or close to your heart. Or something that you uncover. The Full Moon in Scorpio is telling you to let go of something that no longer serves you, and if you don’t share this with others, that’s okay, too. Full Moon ritual recommendation: write a letter or intention of what you want to release, bless it, rip up the note, and lovingly release the paper into a pit of fire. Want to go to the next level? Host a full Moon circle.
New Moon in Gemini, May 19th
We have a new beginning with every New Moon. Allowing the old to welcome in the new opportunities. As the song Closing Time by Semisonic says, “Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end.” Keep returning to the things that ground you, and keep you centered and focused. The whole theme of Taurus season is slowing down, participating more in activities that are out of your inner world, LITERALLY GOING OUTSIDE, doing it, you know you want to!! Taurus is an Earth sign, so of course, this will involve things that will come up naturally. It’s never too late to start again. It’s also a good time to look more into things that bring beauty to your life, which could include spring cleaning (always great to do during a Mercury Retrograde), buying some new artwork for your home, looking at your finances, or upgrading your money mindset. Want a new beginning? Consider becoming the CEO your parents wanted you to marry.
Gemini Season on the Way!
Beginning on the 21st, expect the energy to change. We’ll now be in Gemini season, which is all about being social, talkative, and outgoing, which pairs nicely with warmer weather. We experience more peace and happiness during the summer months; it’s the time of year our schedules and time are abundant and free. We take vacations, kids are off from school, and we take the time to plan for the second half of the year. It’s also a good time for deep conversations around your unconscious thoughts, limiting beliefs, and maybe (just maybe!), empowering a new belief system that works for you, rather than against you. NLP, anyone?
May Glowscope for Aries: The past month was centered around you! Your sign brings fire, passion, and good energy to new projects, your work, and your relationships. Now is the time for you to slow down a bit and enjoy the results! Change it up a bit for now; think through some decisions carefully, and don’t be impulsive for the time being. Around the 15th of the month, begin to think about what it is you want to focus on for the near future. Perhaps you are inspired to look into plans to travel for the summer or fall. Mercury will be direct by then so, technologically speaking, planning anything else should be a smooth process. Take your time, no rush. Jupiter is also in your sign until the end of the month, so whatever project you are considering, you will be successful with this! Dream big, and the abundance will flow to you. Treat yourself!

May Glowscope for Taurus: This is your time to shine! Embrace the new spring season, and figure out what your next steps are. It’s all about you until the 20th. You’ve got both Mercury and the Sun in your sign until the middle of the month. When it comes to communicating with your family, friends, loved ones, coworkers, and partner… mean what you say, don’t say it mean. Communicate clearly. Possibly avoid having any hard conversations until Mercury goes direct. Around the 19th, the New Moon will be a great time for you to think about revamping your space and energy. Clear out the clutter, donate old clothes, clean your desk and home office, get rid of any dust, and freshen up your home. It may also be beneficial to smudge and cleanse your space and buy some flowers to brighten it up. Also, spring clean your finances –get rid of any subscriptions you don’t need, eliminate overspending, shed any limiting beliefs about money, and clear out the crap. Empower your money mindset and clear out the beliefs that are holding you back.
May Glowscope for Gemini: From the 20th onward, the collective energy will be buzzing with people making social plans, getting out of the house, planning BBQs for Memorial Day weekend (if you’re in the US), and getting people together. The first part of the month may affect you more than usual with Mercury retrograde, and since your sign is ruled by Mercury, there is a chance your words could get twisted, or you may not think before you speak. It happens! Be intentional about what you post to social media, check your work emails for typos, and just get the point of what you’re saying. After the 19th, it may be also good for you to call a friend to vent. You also have Venus in your sign for now, so it’s beneficial for you to focus on the things you love… and not so much focus on the negative. Embrace your hobbies and interests. Go to an art show, see a play or movie, or do something that you’ll know you will enjoy and love talking about. Listen to a new podcast, learn something new, and be ready to share it with those around you.

May Glowscope for Cancer: Take the time to acknowledge your emotions, and if you feel extra emotional, (water signs especially), give yourself some TLC. The Full Moon and lunar eclipse on the 5th may bring up some unexpected emotions. Book a massage, manicure, pedicure, and relax. Journal about your emotions, too. It may be a good idea for you to incorporate more baths into your routine during this time, as this is how Cancers best clear out negative energy or energy from others (especially if you’re an empath!). Mars has been in your sign since the end of March. For most of this month, starting on the 7th until the end of the month, both Mars and Venus will be conjunct in Cancer. Love is in the air for sure. Both the feminine and masculine planets and their energy will be felt by many. You may feel romantic toward your partner, perhaps cooking them their favorite meal. if you’re single you may feel extra flirty toward your crush. If you’re on dating apps, nurture the connections you’ve been making, and see where it goes. Make sure to nurture yourself and the people in your life. Happily not dating? Treat yourself to something cozy.
May Glowscope for Leo: While you normally are a go-getter, work hard, and like to command attention on you, there isn’t much activity on your end this month. This is okay. Take the time to rest and figure out your next steps. The 25th with the Moon in Leo may be a good time for you to look inward and see where there’s room for improvement. You’re all about receiving good praise and feedback, but take the time to reflect on your inner self. Is it people-pleasing skills? Inner child healing? Find what may need healing or reflect on what you’d like to change. Mars hits your sign on May 20th, then opportunities could come your way. Perhaps this is when some solo opportunities for work may come up– maybe it’s time to polish up your resume and portfolio, start that business or show prospective employers what talents you’ve got! All eyes on you!

May Glowscope for Virgo: Mercury Retrograde could be affecting you more than the other signs, as Mercury rules both Gemini and Virgo. Normally, you are very detail-oriented; keeping your home neat, your calendar free of double-bookings, and the tasks you have to do perfectly scheduled. If things seem off, it’s not you– it’s Mercury! Take a time out and adjust accordingly. You may need to practice surrender, which is hard for you, Virgo– but not impossible! A good focus for your sign this month is to revisit any home projects that you haven’t done in a while… gardening, cleaning out that closet, and clearing out clutter. The 27th may be a bit chaotic for you, but this is also an opportunity to rethink your way of doing things; approach a situation, task, or relationship from a different angle. You’re all about the details so figure out what is missing and add it in!
May Glowscope for Libra: At the start of the month and the end of the month, the moon is in your sign! With two moon phases in Libra, it will be about finding harmony and balance within your relationships. Make sure you have time for important commitments with family, friends, work, and your partner. And also, yourself! Incorporate self-care. Perhaps you’ve had some stressful things come up within your relationships, but now you can breathe a sigh of relief. Go plan that date night or that weekend trip! If you need help finding harmony in your relationships, book a free 1:1 consultation call with one of our relationship coaches to see how they can best support you.

May Glowscope for Scorpio: Your emotions could be extra AF this month, especially the first week of May. You’ve got the Full Moon and lunar eclipse in your sign on the 5th. Please be kind to yourself this first part of the month. Keep your journal and box of Kleenex close to you. Some emotions that you may have not been fully aware of before could be uncovered to you. Have self-compassion. Allow whatever is meant to come up, come up. Your emotions are pathways to your next level, don’t push them away this month, embrace them. Once you’re done releasing, look for something new to fuel you.
May Glowscope for Sagittarius: You’re feeling called to plan a trip for the summer, go see some concerts, or book that retreat. You’ve also been searching for your purpose for a while. Go deep within and figure out what that is. Do it in a fun way, Sagittarius! Drive to the beach, find a hiking trail, or join that running group you’ve always wondered about. Stay physically active but don’t overdo it. On the 7th, you might become more optimistic about your dream vacation, trip, or a course you want to take. You find your purpose through action and learning, see what’s coming up and dive in!

May Glowscope for Capricorn: Your inner glow-getter wants to be out there crushing your goals. Perhaps you’re ready for the next thing like buying a home, a new car, or making a new investment. Well, wait until Mercury goes direct after the 15th for any of that. On the 9th, you might become more clear about what it is you’re working toward next; look for the signs. It might be great for you to get involved with your local or online community and see what you can do to help others. You may search for an external reason for this… but don’t justify it. The desire to connect, work hard, and help others was placed in your heart for a reason. Need a place to tap in? Join our Facebook group to connect with other like-minded women here.
May Glowscope for Aquarius: You enjoy doing weird things… that’s what makes you so unique! This month, during the retrograde, perhaps you’re enjoying your free time while watching documentaries, learning about extraterrestrial life on Earth, or coming up with a new conspiracy theory. (LOL) You enjoy spending a lot of time on your own and prefer your own physical space whenever possible. On the 11th, you may find yourself hanging out with your friend group, and realizing that sometimes being in community with others, but doing so on your terms, is the most free you’ll ever be. Don’t resist community and connection this month, Aquarius! Besides, it’s nice to talk through your interests with other like-minded people! Or at least, you can broaden their horizons.

May Glowscope for Pisces:
Getting in touch with your emotions and spirituality may be of significance with the Full Moon and lunar eclipse this month. Saturn –the planet of lessons, discipline, and hardships– also just hit your sign and will remain there until 2026. You may find that you could be a bit tired due to this. Rest, be kind to yourself, and allow for lessons to unfold as they should Due to the eclipse and Full Moon in a water sign this month, some vivid dreams are possible with Neptune in your sign for the foreseeable future. Keep a dream journal. Adapt a daily practice, such as meditation or yoga to connect you spiritually and benefit your mind and mental health, too. On the 13th, embrace your creativity. Pick up a paintbrush, or a coloring book, or write some poetry. Get your feet wet at the beach or a lake nearby. This month is all about connecting to yourself; get that birth chart reading and commit to understanding the mysticism that lies within you!
